When it comes to lip shades, I like to stay in my comfort zone which basically means nudes and pinks. Sometimes I'll try darker pinks or faint reds but that's it. I do obviously want to get into brighter colours but I wanted to share my favourite nudes/pink lip options that I go to whenever I decide to wear something on the lips.
From top to bottom:
Mac's Cremesheen Glass in Partial To Pink - £17.50 - this was the first gloss I bought from Mac and it's still one of my go-to pink shades. The formula isn't sticky and gives a good wash of colour without needing a base, not to mention the smell - vanilla plus something else which makes it edible-worthy.
Mac's Frosted Lipstick in Peach Blossom - £15.50 - I never usually go for Frost lipsticks from Mac, I find their cremesheen's are aaamazing but this was another recommendation from Viviannadoesmakeup. After finding it at the lipstick counter, one of the girl's at Mac tried it on me and I loved it - you can wear it on it's own too and looks great. It's gives a perfect hint of pink and again smells lovely.
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 02 Apricot Shimmer - £18.00 - if I had to choose out of all of these, this would be number 1. The formulation isn't sticky, it gives a nice wash of shimmer and peachy colour and moisturises the lips all at the same time. I think it even has some SPF in there somewhere! I've only been using this for a few months but I love it.
Elf's Mineral Lipstick in Runway Pink - £5.00 - Elf cosmetics for price and overall quality are really good in my opinion and the mineral range is great. This lipstick is creamy and gives a true to colour wash of the perfect pink. I would like to try a few more of their colours too.
Look Beauty Lipslick in Peaches - £2.50 on sale - When I did my £20 makeup challenge, this was the lip product I chose and since then it's be a staple in my pink options. The formula is glossy, not sticky and gives an opaque pinky peach. For £2.50 it's definitely a bargain pink.
What are your favourite pink/nude lip options? Have you tried any of my favourites?
I have the same one from Clarins and it is definitely one of my go to favorites. It is so natural :)
