With
a new year, brings new goals and resolutions which I usually do every
year but instead of writing lists & not fulfilling them, I found
this book - The Little Book of Mindfulness.
Aside
from the cute mint green book cover and gold fonts, this book is a
great guide to mindfulness which helps you to focus, slow down and
de-stress. It talks about breathing, taking a moment to slow down, looking around you & living in the now. It's
not this big life changer but definitely worth a read to enhance how
you live and to have a positive outlook on almost everything you do.

"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."
"Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more."
"Mindfulness
is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it
were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it
changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it
will always be this way (which it won't)."
