Urban Decay De Slick | Travel Size

Hello lovelies!

Today I am going to be talking about a new beauty product that I purchased a couple weeks ago....Urban Decay's De Slick!

I'm not going to be writing a review just yet as I haven't used the product enough to be able to give an opinion but when I do you can be sure of a review.

When it comes to 'setting sprays' I'm quite hesitant as the word 'setting' on my face gives me a thought of a face mask setting and me not being able to scrunch my face haha. So, I didn't get the full size one and opted for the travel size version. It has 30ml of product and cost around £9 which I thought was quite a good deal to be able to get a nice sized trial/sample/travel bottle.

Urban Decay seemed to of revamped the packaging for both the travel size and the full size and I haven't decided whether I like it not. The silver and white looks sleek but I liked the bright purple colour a little better but oh well ;)

The packaging says that it is a makeup setting spray with oil control and its meant to weightlessly control oil, deflect surface shine and keep skin looking beautifully matte. The part that I am most excited about though is that it has ingredients that helps keep foundation, shadow and blush from smudging, sliding or fading! Yay!

I haven't been able to wear this all day yet but when I write a review, I will have thoroughly tested it. Even so, the feel of it applying when you spray it feels like you're going to ruin your makeup, when in actual fact is 'sets' straight away and leaves your skin feeling silky but not at all tight or uncomfortable.

So far, from what I can tell, I think I am going to like this product especially using it with my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, check out my review of Chanel's foundation here.

I hope you enjoyed reading my little ramble. Have you tried it? What did you think?

I would love to hear any opinions in my comment section below!

Outfit of the Day | Cute Dress & Blazer ♥

Hello lovelies!
Today I'm doing an outfit of the day (OOTD) for you as I kinda like what I'm wearing today.
I work in an office so I've been trying to put together outfits which look cute but also look smart.
Today I'm wearing a little blue dress with tights (its still really cold where I live) and to give it that extra something, I've added a grey blazer which fits very snug as it is a size 6. I'm usually an 8 on top but when I bought this blazer (I'll tell you where its from down below, keep reading!) I could only find a 6 or much bigger sizes so I tried it on and liked how it looked....
The dress is from primark a couple months ago and the blazer is from H&M but unfortunately is was in the sale. I'm sure they will have similar ones in store though if you check it out :)
For shoes, I opted for my smart dark leather look boots which is from a german shop in Nottingham, I think it was called Deutschman... They have great quality shoes for men, women and children with great prices.... These were £30.
For hair and makeup, I literally washed my hair this morning and blow dried it, thats it.... and for makeup I only wore my Chanel foundation, see review here! It gives me a fresh look and covers any spots or dark circles under my eyes. I'm the type of girl who prefers to have an extra half an hour in bed than spend ages doing my makeup, unless I'm going somewhere a bit more special than work :)
I posted this photo on my Instagram too!

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation Review | Beauty

Hello lovelies!
Today is going to a review on the Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation as it is one of my favourite high end foundations. I have actually almost used up all of this bottle and there will definitely be a repurchase. Only problem with it is that it retails for around £39.00 which is rather expensive but you do get your moneys worth throught the quantity and quality.
The packaging is sleek and of nice quality but doesn't have that added niceness (?) that a glass foundation bottle has. I think that for the price, they could have made a better effort with the packaging. Comparing a normal glass foundation from Maybelline which has 30ml, this foundation also has 30ml but the product goes further.
Coverage & Finish
It gives an amazing coverage without having to apply more than one pump's worth and gives the 'my lips but better' look. It enhances the natural beauty that you have whilst still showing through my freckles but at the same time hiding any redness or spots!
The consistency of this foundation is very smooth and is made up of a water base and foundation. It is meant to act as a second skin and doesn't leave it looking cakey like many foundations do.

I use my real techniques buffing brush to blend it in and I find that it works perfectly. It applies evenly, doesn't clog up in one area and sinks into your face without sinking into your pores (pores are visably reduced). As you can see on my rather snazzy photo collaging above, it blends really well and leaves a lovely matte finish. The lady at the Chanel counter actually told me that because of the way it dries on your skin, you don't need to follow up with powder. I occasionally still will but you definitely don't need to.
Fading time
I usually put on this foundation in the early morning, and then take it off late at night and I would say it probably lasts for a good 6-8 hours on my skin without looking different but towards the end of the day, It will start to not look so flawless but for me, it isn't a problem :)
Colour Range
I am in the shade B10 which is either the lightest colour, or the second from lightest and if I'm honest, I think there could have been a better colour range. I felt like I was in between 2 of the colours as there was quite a big colour difference in the ones right next to each, plus it is way too expensive to buy both shades and mix! If you fit into one of the shades then it is perfect but there isn't a massive range.
Where can you buy it from?
You can buy this foundation at any high end department stores that sell Chanel such as Beales, Debenhams etc. It is a popular foundation within the Chanel brand so it shouldn't be hard to find. You can also find it online too!

Overall, I would give this a 4/5 stars as I feel that it ticks all the major boxes for quality and quantity but wouldn't say that the colour ranges, packaging and price were the best. The product its self being long wearing, easy to apply and generally amazing gives it a great rating.
Have you tried this foundation? Did you like it?
I would love to hear from anyone who reads this and finds what I have to ramble on about interesting.
