Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara ♡

Hello lovelies!
I have had my eye on Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara for a while now and so decided to go out and get it as my mascara had completely been used up and needed a new one. On looking at it for the first time, I liked how it looked (similar to the falsies tube) and had heard fairly good reviews on it. After using it for quite a while I thought I would do my own review on it.
The tube is very similar to Maybelline's falsises mascara if not the exact same. I think the colour scheme is nice, pink and purple, which is fun for spring and summer. The purple tube is sparkly too ;)
Volumising & Finish
It is meant to a volumising mascara and boy is it just that! I can put on one coat of this and my lashes start looking fake which for my personal preference I love. The finish is glossy yet matte and dries fairly quickly.
Compared to some other mascaras I have used, this is more on the thick side and definitely not watery or sticky. I like the formulation of this mascara as it makes it easier to apply.
Applying & Brush
This mascara is pretty easy to apply, it tends to clump a tiny bit but if you are like me, you quite like the small clumping as it gives depth. The brush is plastic and doesn't have the brush like bristles.... This means that you apply product and it goes straight onto your eyelashes rather than constant building up....
Fading Time & Colour Range
You can get the waterproof version of this mascara but as I'm not overly oily, I don't need it plus I don#t go swimming everyday :) This mascara stays on all day and only starts to smudge towards the late evening which I think is a great quality in any mascara. There are the usual blacks and browns in this mascara.
Where can I buy it from?
Most drugstore shops such as Boots and Superdrug sell Maybelline aswell as Tesco and Sainsburys...
Have you tried this mascara? What did you think?

Outfit of the Day! | Topshop & Primark ♡

Hello lovelies!

Today's post is going to be an OOTD for what I wore to work on Monday, sorry I didn't get it up yesterday....

I'm wearing a basic black short sleeved sweater type thing from Topshop with my usual leggings, (I do switch around though, I have so many) my Primark black pumps wtih some bling and my Topshop tribal necklace which I am in love with!

You can't see it properly here as anywhere I take the photo has really bright light from the sun, but I will be doing a blog post featuring this necklace very soon....
I've really been loving Topshops basic range as they are comfy, easy to accessorise and fit quite nicely.

I hope you are all having a great day and enjoyed taking a peak into what I wore yesterday...

My Many Faces: The Office Girl ♡

Hi guys!

I’ve seen lots of beauty youtubers and bloggers doing the ‘My Many Faces’ blog posts where they work with a makeup artist from makeup brands and it looks so cool. I’m nowhere near being approached to do that so I thought I would do my own version of it.
The first look 'The Office Girl' makeup look. As I've said in previous blog posts, I like my sleep and would rather have an extra 30 minutes in bed instead of getting up and spending ages getting ready. So, this makeup look is a very simple one that takes me around 10 minutes to do and it works great for me!
It consists of 4 makeup products and one brush. Even writing that seems like such a small amount of product but with the right mascara, I don't feel I need to wear eyeshadow or eyeliner. There will be days though that I might add in these extra items but this is the base I always wear. Its taken me a while to find the perfect products, but I think I have!

What I use:

♡1 Revlon 'Nearly Naked' Foundation

♡2 Collection 2000 Long Lasting Concealer

♡3 Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

♡4 Maybelline Rocket Mascara

& my Real Techniques Buffing Brush!

All of the products I have mentioned are very affordable and easily accessable from Boots or Superdrug. For working in an office, it is a nice mixture of simple with a bold mascara look.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, I will be doing 'My Many Faces' for other looks I wear on a regular basis so follow my blog if you would like to see more....
