Engagement Photo Shoot ♥

Hello lovelies!

Today I have some rather exciting photos to share with you as at the weekend, my fiance and I had our engagement photo shoot. Our photographer is Andy Smith, I will link all of his details down below.

The location we picked was at a really beautiful beach around 5 o'clock in the evening and the weather held off long enough for us to have our photos taken. The light was pretty good at this time and even without a sunset, the beach as our background still looked lovely...

I absolutely LOVE them! Max and I have a very strong 'chemistry', always laughing, enjoying each others company and I feel like our photographer really captured the moments perfectly. A few of the shots, especially the first one of this blog is a type of photo I would like on our wedding day. I don't know the exact name for it, but its an 'in motion' shot which really captures moments that posing can't get you.

I also really like the black and white photos that our photographer took and edited and I can't wait to have them in frames around our new flat/house after we're married.

Overall, I'm really impressed with our photos as we were only out for about 30 minutes and it was so cold!

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below...

  1. Hi Ashleigh, love your blog, and glad you're happy with the photos from the engagement shoot.
The style you refer to is called reportage which is basically what it sounds like, reporting on the event through the lens, and these shots "come alive" in black & white.
As your wedding day approaches, we'll sit down and go through what you want from your day and how we will capture it in an equally beautiful way.
    Kind regards
    Andy Smith
